“Beyond borders: Indian recipients find a French connection: Madame Marie-Therese-Hampart-Zoumain… … Her kidneys went to recipients at Max hospital. Her liver was given to an Army jawan at RR Army Hospital… …”

Bravo et nous vous remercions infinnement Madame Marie-Therese-Hampart-Zoumain.

'Vive le tourisme! France is still the world’s most popular country' by Jolyon Attwooll

A report indicates that in 2013 a whopping 84.7 million foreign tourists visited France.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/france/11027747/Vive-le-tourisme-France-is-still-the-worlds-most-popular-country.html

During the same period only 6.8 million foreign tourists came to India.

Come on India.

Let us do something to attract more tourists.

‘… …this summer, Parisians are descending underground at the Montparnasse-Bienvenüe station just to see the extraordinary fresco, measuring 132 metres, by Joe Sacco… … ‘

I have not had the chance to visit Montparnasse station to view this fresco, but I do hope that it also depicts the participation and the sacrifices of the Indian troops in the battle of Somme. Please see the following photo of Indian bicycle troops at a crossroads on the Fricourt-Mametz Road, Somme, France.
